Requirements
- 1+ year of experience in QA
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology and how QA functions within it
- Ability to work independently and as part of the team
- Participating in a test planning meeting and providing feedback to the team
- Should know testing methodologies
- Create test cases to identify software problems and prioritize testing activities
- Good communication skills
- Experience in mobile application testing i.e Android, IOS Testing, Native apps
- Excellent analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Strong documentation skills: able to clearly report bugs and prepare test reports
- Knowledge of load and performance testing process, an experience of using tools such as Selenium, JMeter, SoapUI
- Good understanding of the test methodologies and test environments
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Great team player and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision
- Bachelor Level
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute software test plans.
- Develop, document, and maintain functional test cases and other test artifacts like the test data, data validation
- Ensure that user expectations are met during the testing process.
- Draft quality assurance policies and procedures.
- Troubleshoot, isolate and write problem reports, verify bug fixes.
- Continuous test coverage, maintenance and improvement.
- Provide initial investigation and reproducible steps for customer issue ticket.
- Design and execute end-to-end test planning of user requirements, use cases and technical specifications.
- Communicate with the project manager, developers, fellow QA engineers and other interest groups.
- Assist Senior QA/Project Manager to design the system and prepare SRS document.
- Working closely with other developers, UX designers, business and systems analysts
Education + Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent in relevant stream
- Minimum 1 year experience in QA
